If I link my web3name to my public address will others be able to see transactions on my account?

Yes, if you have your web3name linked to an address anyone can search your name via the w3n website and see everything that's publicly linked to it, including the address. In blockchain once anyone knows your public address they may also use services such as Subscan to see activity on that account.. This can be useful for validators and collators to show their activity and be easily identifiable. If you want to keep an address private, don’t link it!
